Her first steps in the field of art and painting, have become a reality years ago, among her fathers and her grandfathers attelies, both famours painters George and John Koukmas.

She graduated the university of fine arts in Bolognia, with the highest grades as an exceptional talent from the workshop of the well known painter G. Modica.

She belongs among the new generation of the Greek painters and from her work you can realize the continuous effort for defending the quality of the everyday’s life, that seems to be disappearing in our days. With the city images, the so called “City Views” the move and the speed of living the everyday’s life, the painter is unfolding an expressionistic mood an artistic language of a city that illustrates the todays way that peoples live.

Her works, dominated by urban landscapes, have been presented in 5 solo and 14 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Her works are still in public spaces of Kavala, in collectibles and private collections, while she has collaborated with Gallery “Artion” and the Gallery “Atrion” of Thessaloniki.

She lives and works in Kavala, having her own atelie where in the meantime she is teaching in the second grade education classes lessons of art.
